  • An email was sent to Students and will be sent to Parents (in the Weekly Roundup email) today regarding cell phone usage at school.  I encourage you to speak to your student and appreciate your help on this matter.
  • The Music Boosters will host their Annual Chili Supper tomorrow (2/3) from 4-6:30PM in the HS Cafeteria during the Boys Basketball game.  Please contact Band Director, Aaron Gosnell, for ticket information (agosnell@pretzelpride.com)
  • Congratulations to following JH students for advancing to the Sangamon County Spelling Bee: Paul Brown (6th), Corren Watson (6th), Taylor Darr (7th), Payton Schurman (7th), Kyla Sullivan (8th), and Lauren Williams (8th).
  • In order to qualify for the 3rd Quarter reward party, students must meet the 3rd Quarter Party expectations.  Please see page 34 of the JH Student Handbook.
  • Friday (2/10) is a an 1145 Dismissal for School Improvement.
  • Cheer will be hosting a Chicken Dinner (2/17) 4:30-6:30 in the HS cafeteria.  This coincides with Senior Night for HS Basketball.  Please contact Stacey Killion (skillion@pretzelpride.com).
  • The Annual Art Club Fundraiser is just around the corner. We are hosting our painting party in the HS cafeteria on Saturday, (2/18) from 12-3pm. Thank you for your support. Hope to see you there! See an art club member or contact (ewehling@pretzelpride.com) for more information.
  • The JH will kickoff their Annual Fundraiser (2/21).  More details TBA.
  • The Sangamon County School Masters County Spelling Bee will be held (2/22) at Pawnee Junior High.
  • JH Student Council will be hosting a JH Dance (2/24).  A theme has not yet been decided.  More details TBA.
  • SEMA band competition will be hosted by Tri-City JH (2/25).
