• Spring Pictures will be taken (4/3).
• 8th Grade Students will be participating in Welcome to the Real World sponsored by the University of Illinois Extension office (4/4).  Students must turn in permission slips to Mr. Bandy by Monday in order to attend.
• Students were challenged to meet growth goals on recent MAP testing.  Reward incentives were offered to students that met their goals!  Students will participating in reward days this coming week.
• (4/7) will be a 221 dismissal to begin Spring Break.  Spring Break will run through (4/17).  Students will return (4/18).
• JH PARCC testing will be (4/19-4/28).
• Career Day will be held (4/21).
• 4th Qtr. Mid-Term is (4/26).
• The 8th Grade ACE Awards is (5/4) at Golden Corral.
• On (5/5) 8th Graders will take the Illinois Science Assessment.
• The End of Year 8th Grade Dinner/Dance will be (5/12).  Details TBA
• The 6-12 Combined Spring Band Concert is (5/16) at 7PM.
• The JH Awards Ceremony will be held (5/17) at 2PM.
• 6th Orientation (incoming 5th) will be held at 6PM on (5/24).
• (5/29) - Memorial Day - NO SCHOOL
• Students are currently planning the 4th Qtr. Party.  The 4th Qtr. Party will be (5/30), details TBA.

• Today is an 1145 Dismissal.  There will be NO School tomorrow (3/17).
• 3rd Quarter report cards will be mailed (3/20).
• JH MAP testing will take place the week of (3/20).  This will be our 3rd and final benchmark testing session with NWEA MAP for the school year.  You can help your students be successful by helping make sure they get a good night's rest and have a healthy breakfast each day.

• The Student Council  JH Dance is tonight (3/10) from 6:30-8:30PM. 
• Congratulations to the 7th grade girls volleyball team!  They are STATE BOUND.  The girls will play in the 7-3A State Tournament tomorrow.  Their first match is at 11:15AM at Downs Tri-Valley HS.
• 3rd Quarter End (3/14).  Report cards will be mailed (3/20).
• The 3rd Quarter Reward Trip is (3/16) to Skateland.  Eligible students have returned field trip slips.  This is an 1145 Dismissal day.
