There will be no school (10/9) in observance of Columbus Day
Friday (10/13) will be the end of 1st Quarter. The 1st Qtr. Reward Party will be to Southwind park (10/13). Details TBA.
The Sangamon County Honor Band Concert will be (10/19) at 7PM at Glenwood.
No School (10/20) for Teacher Institute.

JH Picture Day is TOMORROW (9/22).
The JH Softball team is STATE BOUND. The team claimed the 1A Sectional Championship (Elite 8) this past Saturday. The will play Friday (9/22) in Normal at 4PM at Champion Fields.
Our first JH Dance will be tomorrow (9/22) from 7-9PM in the cafeteria. Entry is 1 canned food item. The theme is harvest hoedown. Wear your western gear.
Homecoming is right around the corner. While this is a mostly HS event, JH students always enjoy the parade. The parade is scheduled for Sunday (9/24) at 1PM. The homecoming Football game is (9/29).

1st Quarter Mid-Term is today (9/15)
The JH Softball team claimed the 1A Regional Championship on Monday! They play Lincolnwood in the Lincolnwood Sectional Saturday (9/16) at 11AM. Congrats!
If you are dropping off or picking up your child, please do so at the JH entrance. Do not drop off or pick up on the Dome side.
2016-17 JH Yearbooks are in and available for purchase at $20. Please make checks payable to NBJH and bring to Mrs. Delaney. There are a limited number available.

If you are dropping off or picking up your child, please do so at the JH entrance. Do not drop off or pick up on the Dome side.
Dress Code: Up until this point we have simply asked students to change and/or provided them with alternative clothing with no consequence. Instead of calling home, we will be asking students to put their PE uniform on. There is no reason to disrupt parents at work/home when we have a solution in-house. Please review the dress code policy in the handbook. Beginning Monday, the handbook consequences will be followed.
