• JH is currently PARCC testing.  We will be testing (4/19-4/28).
• Career Day will be held tomorrow (4/21).
• 4th Qtr. Mid-Term is (4/26).
• 8th Grade student Lauren Williams and I will attend the Illinois Principals Association Student Recognition Breakfast on April 28th.  Lauren was chosen by the staff for excellence in leadership.
• Staff Appreciation Week is the week of (5/1).  If you are interested in supporting our Staff Appreciation Week, please click here.
• The 8th Grade ACE Awards is (5/4) at Golden Corral.
• On (5/5) 8th Graders will take the Illinois Science Assessment.
• Students that qualified for the fundraiser SkyZone trip will be going (5/9).  Lunch will be served at SkyZone.  Students that qualified have already been notified.
• The End of Year 8th Grade Dinner/Dance will be (5/12).  Details TBA
• The 6-12 Combined Spring Band Concert is (5/16) at 7PM.
• The JH Awards Ceremony will be held (5/17) at 2PM.  The Awards ceremony is a very informal event.  Parents are welcome to attend.
• Parent/Athlete Meeting for HS Football will be (5/21) at 5PM at the NB KC Hall.
• 6th Orientation (incoming 5th) will be held at 6PM on (5/24).
• (5/29) - Memorial Day - NO SCHOOL
• Students are currently planning the 4th Qtr. Party.  The 4th Qtr. Party will be (5/30), details TBA.
• The tentative last day of school is (5/31).
• 8th Grade Promotion will be held (6/1) at 7PM.
