  • The next Weekly Roundup will go out on 12/3.
  • Fanny May candy is TODAY, 11/19.
  • 6th Grade Boys Basketball will have a parent meeting tonight, 11/19 at 6PM before practice at NBE.
  • Friday, 11/20, is the 2nd Quarter Mid-Term.  The end of the semester is creeping up on us.  Be sure to check grades on Skyward and stay in touch with you child's teachers.
  • The Pretzel Angel Tree Auction will be held on 11/21 at at 7PM at the KofC in New Berlin.
  • Memorial's Festival of Trees begins 11/21 and runs through 11/29.  There are typically several NB trees at the festival.  It's a great family event to go check out - in support of a great cause.
  • PTO Butterbraid delivery will be Monday, 11/23 at 430 in the NBE library.
  • Tuesday, 11/24 - 221 Dismissal (Stu Co Dodgeball Tournament after lunch)
  • Wednesday, 11/25 - No School
  • Thursday, 11/26 - No School - Happy Thanksgiving
  • Friday, 11/27 - No School
  • PTO is hosting Cookies with Santa on 12/5 - Details TBA
  • The Track Team is participating in a Santa Run-A-Thon on 12/8.  If you are interested in donating to NB Track & FIeld Run-A-Thon, please contact Coach Binkley at dbinkley@pretzelpride.com
  • SAVE THE DATE - Pretzel Athletics is hosting a Community Holiday Dinner on 12/12 from 5-6:30 PM.
  • Pretzels Give Back! Pretzel Athletics and New Berlin Junior High are partnering with the Pretzels Angel Tree to host a Community Holiday Dinner on December 12th. This Dinner will be open to all community members regardless of student attendance in New Berlin Schools. Please consider donating the items listed on the flyer attached. Donations are being accepted in the JH office.

  • Fanny May candy will be distributed today during study skills/electives.  If you have large orders, please make arrangements for your parents to pick you up that day.  See Mrs. Tom with questions.
  • Trimester 1 (electives) ends 11/13.  Students will enter a new elective on 11/16.  
  • NBJH literary students will be participating in the Sangamon County Schoolmasters Literary Competition on 11/14 in Rochester.
  • NBJH will doing our 2nd round of MAP testing next week!
  • There will be a parent meeting for JH Volleyball on 11/15 at 4PM in the JH cafeteria.
  • There will be a parent meeting for 6th grade boys basketball on 11/19 at 6PM prior to practice in the gym at the elementary school.

  • There is no school tomorrow, 11/6.
  • Due tomorrow, 11/6.  The Angel Tree Committee has started working on submitting student names for the "Community Angel Tree".  This program is to help parents provide a Christmas for their child when times are difficult.  No child's name is ever identified to the public.  If you are interested in having your child/children's names included on this list, please stop by the office and pick up a form. 
  • JH Cheer, JH Girls Basketball, and JH Boys Basketball team pictures will be taken 11/9.  Orders forms are available from your coach or on pretzelathletics.com 
  • PTO Butterbread Fundraiser had begun!  Forms & money are due Tuesday, 11/10.  Delivery will be Monday, 11/23 at 430 in the NBE library.  Please make checks to Pretzel PTO.
  • In honor of Veteran's Day there will be no school on 11/11.

  • It is critical that students are dropped off and picked up on the JH side each day.  It is a safety issue that is completely avoidable.  If you are dropping off and/or picking up your child from school it must be from the designated areas and NOT on the dome side of the school.
