- 8th Graders: Please bring in a recent picture of you for our bulletin board.
- The sophomore class is collecting gently used blankets to donate to St. Johns Children's Hospital. There is a basket located outside the JH office.
- The New Berlin FCCLA will be selling Strawberry Pies through 4/29. Please see Mrs. McClarey or any FCCLA member.
- Sports physicals will be offered in May (5/5 & 5/19) for NB student athletes. An email was sent with the physical form. The form can also be found on the Pretzel Athletics website. Please fill out and sign the first page and return it to reserve your spot. Current 5th and 8th graders are not eligible as they require a more comprehensive physical per Illinois state law.
- JH PARCC testing is scheduled for next week (4/18-4/22) and will run into the following week.
- 4th Quarter Mid-Term is Friday, 4/22.
- The JH Band will be participating in the Six Flags Music Festival on 4/29. The students will perform a selection of songs in the Palace Theater in front of a panel of judges. Bands who score a superior rating will receive a plaque for their achievement.
- On 5/5, Mrs. Doerfler will be taking five 8th grade students to the ACE (Academics-Character,Extra-Curriculars) Awards sponsored by the Sangamon County Schoolmasters.
- 5/6 is an 1145 Dismissal for School Improvement
- The JH Awards Ceremony will be held on 5/17 at 2PM in the Pretzel Dome. Family members are encouraged to attend.
- Summer camp registration is now open. Visit the Pretzel Athletics website for the camp brochure. Registration is due 5/20.
- the 4th Qtr. Party will be 5/23. Eligible students will be attending a Peoria Chiefs Baseball Game!
- 8th grade promotion practice will be held 5/24 and is required to participate in promotion. Please also be reminded that in order to participate all fees and due balances must be zero. The deadline to pay is 5/13.
- The last day of student attendance is 5/24.
