- In the US, Patriot Day is observed as the National Day of Service and Remembrance for the victims of the terrorist attacks on September 11th, 2001. Our moment of silence tomorrow will be dedicated to the victims of the 9/11 attacks.
- Welcome Mrs. Owens! Mrs. Lori Owens will be alongside Mrs. Eason through 9/18 getting the hang of all things Junior High! I hate to embarrass her, but I have attached a picture so you can put a face with the name if you aren't already familiar with Mrs. Owens. Let's give her a very warm welcome!
- The JH Student Council is seeking designs for a JH t-shirt. Contest details are hanging up around the school. Designs are due September 11th.
- At times, seconds are available in the cafeteria. Only students with a positive balance in their account will be allowed to purchase seconds.

- It is critical that students are dropped off and picked up on the JH side each day. It is a safety issue that is completely avoidable. If you are dropping off and/or picking up your child from school it must be from the designated areas and NOT on the dome side of the school.
